LDrive and Learn with Graham FearnL

Please note that I am no longer continuing my business as a DVSA approved driving instructor.
Many thanks to all past pupils and for all the enjoyable hours over the years.
I hope that passing your test helped to improve your life and that you are all still driving safely.

passplus registered Approved Driving Instructor

If you intend to learn to drive a motor car you need to be a minimum age of 17 years old and possess a UK provisional driving licence. Your licence can be applied for while you are still 16 but is valid only from your 17th birthday.(Different rules apply if you are claiming full disability living allowance).

Driving lessons in Loughborough, Coalville, Ashby and surrounding areas.

Areas covered include:-

Ashby, Barrow, Coalville, Coleorton, Ellistown, Groby, Hathern, Heather, Hugglescote, Ibstock, Loughborough, Markfield, Measham, Mountsorrel, Quorn, Ravenstone, Shepshed, Thringstone, Thornton, Whitwick.

Before lessons can commence I need to validate your licence details online. To do this you will have to set up a check code on view your driving licence. Tell me the code and your driver number and I will be able see that your licence details are correct.

At the commencement of your first lesson, you will need to bring with you your provisional licence. You must also be able to read a car number plate from approx. 20 metres.

Training follows the DVSA's recommended syllabus and I use a dedicated training record to show, at a glance, what level your driving is at. This is also helpful for any practise that you can do privately.

If paying someone to teach you to drive they MUST be approved and registered with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Only Registered instructors can charge money for teaching you to drive.

All registered Approved Driving Instructors have passed a criminal records check.

All qualified Instructors must display their green certificate in the windscreen.

A pink certificate indicates that the instructor is a trainee and not fully qualified.

Your first lesson would be of 2 hours duration. All other lessons subject to agreement.

Study for your Theory test can be carried out in conjunction with your practical driving lessons. You can then put theory into practise and it makes more sense and is easier to remember.

Lessons can be taken in adverse conditions such as snow, ice, fog etc. Driving in such conditions gives you additional valuable experience. You drive and learn. In rare extreme weather I may cancel the lesson if I consider it to be too dangerous.

My terms of business shall apply.

If you want any other information please do not hesitate to contact me.
